Amisha Khanna is a jewellery designer whose unconventional approach, modern outlook and trendy styles created a niche for her early on in her career. A student of Jewellery design and manufacture from SNDT College, Mumbai, Amisha made her mark after a months internship, she set up 'Design Studio' an only-by-appointment counter at a leading jewellery store. Amisha took a risk that set a trend of sorts for other designers.Today, she works out of her words, are multifaceted and can be worn any time of the day with traditional and trendy ensembles. Her accolades include the Swaranjali Gold Jewellery Competition organised by the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion council of India and the Millenium Diamond Design Contest, organized by De Beers. When she isn't designing she spends time mentoring students from an upcoming jewellery design college. As mentor, Amisha guides her students on presentation skills, marketing and packaging of designs, etc. Amisha works only by appointment and is based in Mumbai.India.
